ABOUT CHRISTOPHER LEE

I am busy. That is why I built Not Busy.

I’m Christopher Lee—a Korean founder in Hong Kong building AI products, designing learning experiences, and trying to make serious work fit inside a life that still feels like mine.

Not Busy is where I test the systems, decisions, and boundaries that help me build more without letting every important thing become urgent.

What I have in motion.

Not Busy is not advice from the sidelines. It is a field journal from inside a full portfolio of work.

  • Building AI products

I work across products exploring knowledge, learning, and safe AI practice—from company knowledge systems to simulation-led education.

    Knobase · Patientic · obun

  • Teaching and designing education

I teach and help design AI learning experiences in Hong Kong—turning technical possibility into work people can actually understand and use.

AI education · course design · workshops

  • Running the work around the work

A product portfolio only works if the person carrying it does too. I am also learning how to protect attention, health, relationships, judgment, and enough room to think.

The ongoing experiment behind Not Busy

THE ORIGIN

Not Busy started as a joke.

At 19, I was constantly behind and probably the busiest person I knew. Calling myself “Chris Not Busy” started as a sarcastic joke.

The joke stayed because the question did: how do you build serious work without letting it consume the whole person building it?

The work can grow. The person should not disappear.

Not Busy is not an argument for smaller ambition. I want to build consequential things. But I do not want urgency, open loops, other people’s expectations, or AI-generated speed to quietly make every part of life subordinate to the work.

So I treat Not Busy as a practice: make better decisions, build systems that remember, protect capacity before it is gone, and return to the work that is actually worth doing.

Follow the work in the format that fits you.
